So Random, So Busy

This summer is going to be a blur. We are going to be working on several projects in the coming months starting with Aids Services of North Texas. I am working on a few other projects at the moment but those will not be realized until the end of the summer. I will start an internship sometime in late May and I am really looking forward to it. I think that most students are reluctant or afraid of their first internship but I do not feel intimidated. I know that I have a lot to learn and I am eager to (finally) finish school. My education has never been a linear experience, but for once, I feel like I know where I am going.

The internet is a great tool that many non-profits fail to realize or do not believe that they have the funds for. Many agencies have a website that costs them more money than it should while providing no real service to the agency other than providing contact information. Our aim is not only to give agencies a place to host information about themselves, but to give them an opportunity to educate the public about the services that they offer, and to make their lives easier by moving paperwork (such as volunteer applications) online in order to cut down on wasted time.
